You connect every integration from Settings → Integrations inside Nexstage. Most platforms use one click OAuth: you are sent to the provider (Shopify, Meta, Google, Klaviyo), you approve the requested permissions, and you are returned to Nexstage. Two integrations (MailerLite and Metakocka) use an API key you paste in, because those platforms do not offer OAuth for this purpose.
Access tokens and API keys are encrypted at rest, and all traffic runs over TLS. You can disconnect any integration at any time, which stops syncing and lets you remove the imported data. Connecting Google once authorizes Google Ads, Analytics 4, and Search Console together under a single consent screen, so you do not have to sign in three times.
In Settings → Integrations, choose Connect Shopify, enter your your-store.myshopify.com domain, and approve the permissions in Shopify's authorization screen. Nexstage then imports your store history in the background.
Read access only: orders, products and inventory, customers, and Shopify Payments payouts. To import more than the last 60 days of order history, Shopify also asks you to approve read access to all historical orders. Nexstage does not request write access and does not change anything in your store.
The first import uses Shopify's bulk export for speed. After that, Nexstage registers webhooks so new and updated orders, refunds, products, and inventory changes flow in near real time. Uses Shopify Admin API 2026-04.
Choose Connect WooCommerce and enter your store URL. You are taken to your own WordPress admin to approve the connection, which sends Nexstage a set of API keys. Subdirectory multistore setups are supported.
WooCommerce only issues a single combined read/write API key through this flow. Nexstage uses it to read your data and to register the update webhooks, and never modifies your orders, products, or customers.
Nexstage imports your history over the WooCommerce REST API (wc/v3) and registers webhooks for new and updated orders and products so your dashboards stay current.
Choose Connect Meta and sign in with Facebook. After you approve access, you select which ad account(s) to include.
Nexstage requests access to read your ads and their performance, your business and ad accounts, and your Pages (needed to resolve the media in video and dynamic ad creatives). Meta requires the ads management permission to expose creative details over its API; Nexstage uses it only to read those details and never creates, edits, pauses, or spends on your ads.
Insights are pulled on a schedule (no webhooks are offered by Meta). Uses Marketing API v25.0.
Choose Connect Google and approve the single Google consent screen, which covers Google Ads, Analytics 4, and Search Console. You then pick the accounts to include.
Google grants Ads access under one scope that technically allows changes, but Nexstage only ever queries your account; it makes no edits to campaigns, budgets, or bids.
Performance is pulled on a schedule via the Google Ads API (v24).
Authorized as part of the same Google connection above. After connecting, you choose the GA4 property to use.
Read only (analytics.readonly). Nexstage cannot change anything in your Analytics account.
Pulled nightly via the GA4 Data API. Because GA4 data settles over a day or two, recent days are re-pulled to pick up corrections.
Authorized as part of the same Google connection above. After connecting, you choose the verified site (property) to use.
Read only (webmasters.readonly). Nexstage cannot change your Search Console settings or your site.
Pulled nightly via the Search Analytics API (v3), in 31 day windows to capture the full history.
Choose Connect Klaviyo and approve access in Klaviyo's authorization screen. Nexstage refreshes the connection automatically, so you do not need to reconnect periodically.
Read only access to accounts, campaigns, flows, metrics, and profiles. Nexstage does not send campaigns or modify your lists.
Pulled on a schedule via the Klaviyo API (revision 2026-04-15).
MailerLite does not offer OAuth for this purpose, so you create an API token under Integrations → API in MailerLite and paste it into Nexstage. We validate it on connect and store it encrypted.
MailerLite API tokens are account wide (there is no narrower scope). Nexstage uses the token to read your campaign and automation performance. If you ever choose to sync a Nexstage segment to MailerLite, that is an explicit action you trigger; we do not otherwise change your lists or subscribers.
Pulled on a schedule. Note that MailerLite does not expose per campaign revenue, so those figures are not available.
Metakocka is a Slovenian ERP used as a cost source. In Metakocka, generate your secret_key and note your company_id, then enter both in Nexstage under Settings → Integrations.
The connection is read only by design: Nexstage requests only your product list with the most recent purchase price. It cannot create, edit, or delete anything in your ERP.
Costs are refreshed on a schedule and feed directly into your margin and profit calculations.
Store integrations (Shopify, WooCommerce) update near real time through webhooks, with periodic reconciliation sweeps to catch anything missed. Advertising, analytics, search, email, and ERP data is pulled on a schedule, typically hourly for ads and nightly for analytics and search. Each connected source shows an honest freshness badge in the app, so you always know how current a number is.
You can pause or disconnect any integration from Settings → Integrations. Disconnecting stops all syncing immediately and revokes the stored token. You can remove the data imported from that source, and you can request full erasure of your account data at any time on our Data Deletion page. We complete deletions within 30 days.
If a connection will not authorize, or a number looks wrong, email [email protected] with your account email and the integration in question, and we will help you sort it out.
